About Seattle Ceramic Coatings
Short answer
This site is published by APC Auto Spa. It exists to give Seattle drivers honest, plain answers about ceramic coatings, including what they can't do. For pricing and booking, we send you to APC Auto Spa's own website.
Who we are
Heather Humphrey, co-owner: leads education, training, scheduling and the customer experience across both APC locations. She's often on-site, making sure customers understand their options and that every vehicle moves through the shop with care.
Seth Thomas, co-owner: focuses on technical standards, systems and long-term infrastructure, keeping processes and tooling consistent. He's also active in community events and industry gatherings.
APC Auto Spa started in 2015 because the protection Heather and Seth wanted for their own cars wasn't available in the Seattle area. APC has completed an estimated 13,000 services since then. Everything is installed in-house by trained technicians.
Why does this site exist?
People ask us the same good questions over and over: how long a coating lasts in our rain, whether it can get wet, whether it stops rock chips. We wanted one place with honest answers, without a sales pitch on every line. That's why there are no prices or booking forms here.
About APC Auto Spa
APC Auto Spa was established in 2015 and brought Ceramic Pro to Washington. APC Auto Spa is a certified installer for many leading brands, including Ceramic Pro and STEK.
APC was formerly a Ceramic Pro Elite Dealer. We chose to leave the program so we can pick the best product in each category instead of one brand's full catalog. More on that in what installer titles mean.
